Yun He

本名蓝廷骏,在菲律宾生长,受教育。十七岁时出版第一本诗集《忧郁的五线谱》,以及继后出版的《秋天里的春天》,《盗虹的人》,《蓝尘》诸诗集,丰富了诗人60年代的创作历程。从抒情、唯美到现代诗技巧的实验,他予人的感觉是恒在改变的风格。由于环境的原因,曾停笔近十五年,再出发后,所发表的作品,已摆脱旧有的诗风,在繁复的技巧中,表现了人生深刻的一面。80年代出版有《野生植物》、《诗影交辉》二册诗集,2002年出版《云鹤的诗100首》。

Yun He, in real life James T.C. Na, was born and educated in the Philippines.  At 17 he published his debut collection of verses Melancholic Score, which in conjunction with subsequent publication of various collections, namely Springtime in Autumn, The Rainbow Snatcher, and The Blue Dust, concurrently enriched the Poet’s creative course in the Sixties.  Exploring techniques ranging from lyricism, to aestheticism, to contemporary, he was impressive with his ever dynamic style.  Circumstances caused him to pause for 15 years, and when he launched out anew, he managed to shake off the older style and depict the poignant aspects of life with a sophisticated set of skill in his then articles.  In the Eighties he put up two more collections of verses, Wild Plant and In the Light of Poetry and Photography.

Shirley Lua

Shirley O. Lua teaches literature at De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. She is a member of the Philippine Center of International PEN (Poets, Essayists, Novelists). She is also one of the founding members of Alon Literary Collective, a Manila-based poets' group whose first anthology, What the Water Said: Alon Poems (Iloilo City: Libro Agustino, 2004), won the National Book Award for Best Anthology given by the Manila Critics Circle.

汹涌

Turbulence

爬上甲板,海浪与船速使船身不断地转换巨大的倾斜度,失却了水 平感与平衡力的我,面对着这哗然的巨浪这汹涌的海,一阵阵的恐 惧随着海风逼入我的肤肌。  我曾见到如此汹涌的海——一片金黄,在太阳下汹涌着稻穗飘飞着麦 香的海。我曾见到如此汹涌的海——一片烈焰,在燃烧弹与迫击炮下 汹涌着焦土与尸灰的海。我曾见到如此汹涌的海——一片骚动,在拘 捕令与出境证间汹涌着汗水与眼泪的海。  不敢再面对海的汹涌,我,凝视着曳在船尾一瞬间便消失无踪的白 沫。一只孤独的海鸥从我头上飞过,忽地,我有飞的欲望……

 

I climb up the deck. The sea waves and the ship’s velocity cause the hull to shift unceasingly and to tilt immensely. Losing my sense of level and equilibrant, I face this uproar of giant waves, this surging sea. Fear, moving in with the wind, seeps through, piercing my skin. I have seen such surging sea – a stretch of yellow gold, a sea of fragrant wheat, tassels tossing in the wind, sweeping forward under the sun. I have seen such surging sea – a raging blaze, a sea of scorched earth and ashes of the dead, swelling under incendiary bombs and severe strikes. I have seen such surging sea – a tumult, a sea of sweat and tears, rising under arrest orders and departure decrees. I dare not face again the turbulence of the sea. I gaze at the fleeting white foam trailing from the stern, vanishing without trace. A lone gull flies over my head. Suddenly, I have a desire for flight.

蟹爪水仙

Narcissus with Crab-Like Claws

洋葱般大的鳞茎,两侧各长二个小球茎,略带微黄的芽叶, 羞涩地从茎中探出头来。那是我从街上买回来的一棵水仙, 它安祥地躺在置于案上的瓷盘中,直到有一天……  室友笑着取去了它,把它剥了皮、刮了根、划开它洁白的 鳞瓣且一片一片钩掉,让隐藏着的芽都显露出来。据说,那 经过刻削的一面会因受伤而结疤,迟缓了芽的生长,未经刻 削的一面则成长自然——这不平衡的生长,将使叶子形成弯弯 曲曲的蟹爪状。  我听见案上水仙在哭泣:“母亲,就让我在您体内死去吧! 我不愿意这样不正常地发育着……”但,除了我之外,还有谁 听见呢?

 

The bulb was as big as an onion. Two ball-like bulbs grew on the sides, with slightly yellow buds and leaves. It shyly raised its head from the bulb. That was the narcissus I bought in the streets. It lay serenely in a porcelain dish on the table, until one day… My roommate laughingly took it, peeled off its skin, scraped off the roots, cut open its pure white clove and hooked off piece by piece, to make the hidden buds appear. It was said, the side that has been cut and peeled, because of injury, will form scars, slowing down the sprouting of buds; the other side, uncut and unpeeled, will grow naturally. This asymmetry of growth will cause the leaves to bend and curve into crab-like claws. I heard the narcissus weeping on the table: "Mother, let me die in your body! I do not want to grow abnormally…" But, aside from me, who else would hear?
