戴玨毕业于伦敦经济学院和澳洲国立大学。其诗作曾发表于《乾坤诗刊》《诗选刊》等。现居于香港。

Born in 1972， Edgar Dive has studied at the London School of Economics and the Australian National University. He has published works in literary journals including Chien Kun Poetry Quarterly and Poetry Selected. He now lives in Hong Kong.

班甫

Banff

依山的云霞宛如一匹
又长又宽的黄色绸缎
我们缓缓驶向班甫
一座座山峰无语旁观
庄严肃穆

天气清洌，小河
结了冰，没什么声音
我缓缓走向班甫
透过火树银花，遥望
长街尽头更远处深蓝色的
雪峰和傍晚深蓝色的天宇

恍若一只晶莹闪亮
的巨大贝壳，出现在
魂梦的海底深处
我心无杂念地踱步
只祈愿别在这里醒来，
也别在这里睡去，班甫

班甫：位于加拿大境内的洛矶山脉一著名旅游胜地。
			

The clouds along the mountaintops are like a long  
and wide stretch of dark yellow ribbon 
We slowly drive toward Banff 
The peaks silently watch us 
with solemn and stately looks 

The air is cold. The small river 
is frozen, there's not much sound 
I slowly walk toward Banff 
Through the colorfully-lit trees, I see 
a dark blue snowy summit at the end  
of the street and the dark blue evening sky 

Like a gigantic glittering  
crystalline conch, it appears 
in the deep of my dreaming soul 
Sedately I stroll  
hoping to not wake up 
nor fall asleep, here in Banff
