郑约翰 John Zheng

John Zheng is editor of Poetry South, a poetry magazine in English from the Deep South. He is also editor of Valley Voices: A Literary Review. His translation of Chinese poetry has appeared in The Literary Review, Denver Quarterly, Renditions, Mid-American Review, Connecticut River Review.

Snow is falling
on Manhattan's skyscrapers,
noise and luxury,
falling into a picture:
two figures
holding black umbrellas
walk through Bryant Park;
their footsteps
on the fallen snow
fade into Manhattan's
stillness, fade into snow
falling in hush.
