Culture and Poem

A village quiet Lights the lights A city noisy Lights the lights Obviously, they embody different meanings We speak with everyday tongues But often vaguely That quite man Lives in his own village He feeds chickens and raises sheep Feeds fishes in the pond Growing a flower is the same as Keeping butterflies flying That world belongs to him only All sounds there Are carried through inwardly Outsiders can’t hear anything Even when standing by him Even when the man Answers outsiders’ questions Using every day terms With a smile on his face, saying This is the meaning of culture From what happens there inside You can say that is a religion Or you can say that is a poem
