鲜圣，四川省巴中市人。系中国作家协会会员。现居成都。1988年开始发表文学作品，诗文作品散见《诗刊》、《星星诗刊》、《诗选刊》等200多家报刊。著有作品集7部。

Xian Sheng is a member of China Writers Association. He is the author of seven books and his work appeared in many literary journals. He lives in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.

把握

Seizing

草向左  风就向左
草向右  风跟着向右
草直立起来
风就站在草尖上

把一棵草扶起来
风用尽了自己的力气
一棵草在风的掌心里
起起伏伏 

草是渺小的 
把握不了风的方向

但风，紧紧抓住了这棵草
草在冬天消失了
风，依然站在雪地里
等它
			

When grass moves left, the wind moves left.
When grass moves right, the wind follows right.
When grass straightens,
the wind stands on its tips.

The wind uses up its energy
to straighten a blade of grass.
A blade of grass undulates
in the breeze.

Grass is such a tiny thing.
It cannot hold the force of the wind. 
But the wind seizes tight this blade of grass.
In winter, when grass disappears,
the wind still lingers in snowfields
waiting for its return.
