张二棍，原名张常春，1982年生。山西地勘局地质队工人。2010年开始写作，迄今在国家级、省级期刊发表诗歌、散文约 200首（篇）。2015年参加《诗刊》青春诗会。诗集《旷野》由漓江出版社出版。

Zhang Ergun, formerly known as Zhang Changchun, born in 1982. A Shanxi Geological Survey Bureau worker, he started writing poetry in 2010. He has published about 200 poems and prose. In 2015 he was invited to the Youth Poetry Conference organized by Poetry Periodical. He has published a book of poetry Wilderness.

武庆云是《云雨情：中国到美国回忆录》、《伊甸园里俩夏娃, 男妈妈》和《单一鸟》的作者。她的主要学术与翻译著作有：《中英乌托邦文学中的女权统治》（1996年《选择》杂志杰出学术著作）、《繁华梦：王筠传奇》《第三只眼》、《远方有个女儿国》等。她是加州州立大学中文教授。

Edna Wu is the author of Clouds & Rain: A China-to-America Memoir, Two Eves in the Garden of Eden & A Male Mother, and A Single-Winged Bird. Her major academic and translation publications include Female Rule in Chinese and English Literary Utopias (A 1996 CHOICE Outstanding Academic Book), A Dream of Glory: A Chuanqi Play by Wang Yun, a novel about the Chinese People's Liberation Army: The Third Eye, and The Remote Country of Women. She is professor of Chinese at California State University, Los Angeles.

Through-the-Wall Treatment

你有没有见过一个孩子
摁着自己的头，往墙上磕

我见过。在县医院
咚，咚，咚
他母亲说，让他磕吧
似乎墙疼了
他就不疼了
似乎疼痛，可以穿墙而过

我不知道他脑袋里装着
什么病。也不知道一面墙
吸纳了多少苦痛
才变得如此苍白

就像那个背过身去的
母亲。后来，她把孩子搂住
仿佛一面颤抖的墙
伸出了手
			

Have you seen a child
press his head and bang it against a wall

I have seen it. In a county hospital
boom  boom  boom
His mother says, let him bang it
as if the wall's pain
removes his pain
as if pain can pass through a wall

I do not know what disease fills
his head. Neither do I know how much pain 
the wall has absorbed to
turn so pale

Like the mother who turned her back,
then embraced the child in her arms,
a shuddering wall 
stretches out its hand
