Roman Korwoff was born in 1962 in the town of Kalalk, Bulgaria. He studied in the art school in his hometown, and later graduated from the painting department of Sophia's national Academy of Fine Arts. He also works hard in two fields of poetry and art, and now lives and works in Sophia.

罗曼-科思沃夫1962年出生于保加利亚的卡赞勒克镇。他在家乡的艺术中学读书，后来毕业于索菲亚的国家美术学院绘画系。他同时在诗歌和美术两个领域用功，现居住和工作于索菲亚。

周道模，教师，在国内外文学报刊发表汉语、英语和翻译作品。 出版汉语诗集两部、汉英双语诗集两部、自印汉语诗集一部。曾获国内外诗歌奖。主编汉英版《2018世界诗选》。多次应邀参加世界诗人大会和国际诗歌节。中国诗歌学会会员、四川省作协会员、覃子豪研究会会长、《覃子豪诗刊》主编。

Zhou Daomo is the author of two Chinese poetry collections, two Chinese English bilingual poetry collections and one self-printed Chinese poetry collection. He won poetry awards in China and abroad. He is the Editor in Chief of 2018 Selected World Poems in Chinese and English. He was invited to attend the World Poets' Congress and the International Poetry Festival. He is now a lifelong member of the World Poets' Congress and editor-in-chief of the Qin Zihao Poetry Journal.

The Doors of Heaven

天堂之门

The sky is dark.
The sky is heavy and leaden.
The sky is awesome.
It is shaken by thunder and lightning.

Oh no – just do not think
that these thunders and rumble
are the natural phenomena
already explored by science!…
These are the pounding heavy fists
of the blessed ones
upon the doors of Heaven.
			

天空是黑暗的
天空是沉闷的
天空是恐惧的
天空被闪电和雷声摇晃

哦不——恰恰不要这样想
以为雷霆和轰鸣
是被科学探明的
自然现象！······
它们是死后升天的人
用重拳  在
擂  天堂之门。
