Born in Tianjin, China, once a sailor, came to the United States in 1990s to study English Literature and Linguistics. He writes bilingually and publishes his poems and essays over Internet. His poems and translations were published by Northwest Review, Alchemy. He lives in Portland, Oregon.

as the chill fog
softening up
A lonesome night train 
travels through heart's winter
The rhythms suddenly
have meaning
like a small mad
happy voice
singing 
in space-time
I drag my brush
slowly across the universe
like your playful
fingers running
through my uncombed hair
drifting, floating
flying, searching

Unspent Dreams

The falling of the leaves
Took a life time of heart's healing
In a season when birds' wings
Were broken by vicious wind 
Dark words

If you listen close enough
They have been falling for--
ever--every minute of a minute's eternity
While a hummingbird's heart beats
Black snow falls heavy

I trace the sound of leaves' falling
The aching sound of lost utterance
Of a love story at the edge of Night

In every leaf, a night's eternity
Something flutters
Inside the wound
