Reno Tok Ong 王睿
Born in Manila, Philippines in 1988. He began to publish poems when he was twelve. He has published a book of poetry The Cage (2005). He is now a college student at University of California, Los Angeles.
一九八八年生于菲律宾马尼拉,十二岁开始在学校刊物上发表英文诗歌和小说。已出版诗集《笼》(2005)。现为美国加州州立大学洛山矶分校学生。

Catherine Ong 杜鹭莺
Born in Fujian, China. She came to Manila in the early 70's and during her early years in the Philippines she taught Chinese in a number of high schools. Her work has appeared in various newspapers in China and the Philippines. She lives in Manila.
五十年代末中国福建出生。七十年代移居菲律宾。早年曾在马尼拉华校任教,后从商,作品散见於国内外报刊。目前定居马尼拉。

Sledge has struck the anvil,
Winds of war have blown,
Air above us quickly fills,
Of the screams of those who mourn
Restless eye above us looms,
Glare of ancient malice
Dark shades, they slowly pass,
Across the painted sky
Tempest comes,
Tempest roars
Quick as lightning,
All undone:
Land, ravaged,
Houses, shattered
As black ebbs begin to part,
To leave the broken lands,
Two things remain:
Both heart and will,
Until the storm returns

战火般的狂风骤然吹起
空气中瞬间弥漫着
哀嚎者们的凄厉
苍穹间不安的眼睛渐晰
是远古幽怨的怒觑
暗黟的阴影缓缓地游走
穿越那泼墨似的天际
暴风来了!
暴风咆哮着!
急急如闪电雷袭
一切皆无备及︰
土地一一被摧残
房舍一一遭支离
当暗潮逐渐退去
弃置的大地满目疮痍
只留下
意志与勇气
直至另一次风暴的降临
